Women's Spirit Services for Survivors of Abuse
Women's Spirit is dedicated to providing women affected by abuse with the opportunity to build safe and independent lives for themselves and their children. This is achieved through the implementation of employment and economic empowerment programs across the country, with a focus on developing personalized plans tailored to the unique needs and challenges of each woman.
Women’s Spirits - Empowerment Program
Women’s Spirit equips women with the tools, knowledge, and support needed for workforce integration and financial independence. Personal and Professional Support:
Each participant receives individualized guidance tailored to their specific needs. This includes mentoring, personal coaching, rights advocacy, scholarships, professional training, and financial and pension management.
Employment Mentoring and Coaching
Weekly one-on-one mentoring sessions over a year, or focused, goal-oriented guidance, are provided by dedicated trained volunteers to support participants’ personal, professional, and economic development. Short-term professional mentoring is available in employment, business consulting, and financial management.
Educational Scholarships
Women’s Spirit offers educational scholarships to women affected by abuse, aiming to empower them towards economic independence. These scholarships are available to participants who have chosen fields of study with strong employment potential.
Women Building Businesses
This track supports women interested in starting or developing a business. Participants undergo a comprehensive training course on business planning, marketing, branding, and client acquisition. The program director provides ongoing support.
Women’s Space
A nurturing environment focused on shared learning, collaborative decision-making, and community building. Weekly sessions feature lectures and workshops designed to promote both personal and professional development.
Professional and Technological Training
Participants have access to a range of professional and technological courses and workshops aimed at enhancing their employment skills, boosting self-confidence, and expanding their professional expertise. Training includes computer skills, language proficiency, technological literacy and more.
