Women's Spirit at the United Nations

Women’s Spirit has been recognized as a global leader in the fight against abuse towards women and was awarded special consultative status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2019. The UN Economic and Social Council serves as a forum for discussing international economic and social issues.

This status represents international acknowledgment of Women’s Spirit's impactful work in supporting women who have experienced abuse in Israel and its unique model for developing the economic independence of participants in the aftermath of abuse. As part of this status, we contribute to writing policy papers, participate in conferences, and present our work at international forums.
